Leukemia is actually a very tricky disease that may be very hard to diagnose at early stages, but there are certain cautionary measures that can be undertaken to prevent the disease. These measures will also have to do with changes in one’s lifestyle. People are actually advised to avoid exposing themselves to herbicides, insecticides and other chemicals to reduce the risks of contacting the disease.

Medics have also argued that Leukemia, in some cases, may be in the genes of a particular bloodline. If there is a history of Leukemia in one’s lineage, there is a high chance of striking a member of the same lineage. It is also necessary to see a doctor for check-up if one notices exaggerated weight loss. Medics also argue that people who exercise regularly have low chances of developing the leukemia. Most people’s breakfasts ARE totally NOT healthy – and this will seriously reduce your body’s ability to burn fat!

With today’s hectic lifestyles, chances are we rush around in the morning, grab something quick – piece of toast, banana and a cuppa… kids munching on sugar or choco coated cereals – sound familiar?

We forget that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

In fact, the recommendation by nutritionists is that breakfast should make up at least 25% of your daily calories.

Eat breakfast like a King, lunch like a Queen and dinner like a beggar!!! This way, you front load your calories at the top end of the day, which makes sense because more calories are burned throughout the day than in the evening, all other things being equal. We mostly blame the sun for melanoma. UV radiation from the sun can damage the DNA in your cells. Sometimes the damage is to the certain genetic code that controls how and when your cells grow and divide. When that happens cells begin to grow out of control and eventually we call it a cancer (melanoma to be precise).

Causes of Melanoma

Most UV radiation is from the sun, but there are other common sources of UV radiation. The most common source of UV radiation (aside from the sun) is a tanning bed. Be careful when using a tanning bed – don’t overdo it!

Most UV exposure that leads to skin cancer occurred to people in their childhood or young adult years. Children and young adults usually get a lot of intense sun exposure when they are young, but the resultant cancer may not show up for years or decades! Newly diagnosed celiac and wheat/gluten allergy patients often feel overwhelmed once the reality of their new lifestyle hits them. Patients are told to completely stay away from gluten and wheat in their diets, but are often left to guess how to proceed with such a restrictive diet and lifestyle.

Many health care providers do not offer information to fully educate their patients on the “how-to’s” of adapting to the new challenges and changes that come with diagnosis. Patients who truly want to become healthier and completely adapt to their new lifestyle must embark on a journey of self-education.

Self-education is an on-going process for patients, and leads to empowerment and self-confidence by gaining knowledge and understanding of their condition. With knowledge, patients can face Life and safely take part in the world around them. Quality of life is greatly enhanced when patients are feeling good and more confident. Self-education is a very powerful tool for newly diagnosed patients who suffer from celiac disease and wheat/gluten allergies. Smoking would have been a great way to be calm if it were not for the deadly side-effects. And although most smokers have mild reasons why they smoke and can quit easily with the right approach, that is not so for all. A minority of smokers needs nicotine as a necessary drug to calm serious anxiety and/or depression. Most of this minority do not realise that they have a medical condition for which they have to seek help. Rather, they believe that they are addicted to the cigarettes and should they stop, they would get extreme withdrawal symptoms. The fact that this is not true is borne out by descriptions I get of withdrawal symptoms that happened three months or longer after they had quit.

I see two kinds of in-denial hypnosis clients; those who have already been to another hypnotist or hypnotherapist, and those who have not. Let me explain. Those who have underlying issues and have been to see another hypnotist unsuccessfully tell me that “it didn’t work” with that hypnotist. There are a number of breast enhancement creams and topical products on the market today that claim to help women increase their bust size. Many women dream of fuller, firmer, more voluptuous breasts, and there are a wealth of products that can help women achieve these dreams.
