Have you heard of the latest plastic surgery disasters? You may have heard the news on TV or seen the pictures online. These cosmetic surgery disasters can happen to anybody – from the average Joe and Jane… to world famous celebrities.
When a plastic surgery goes wrong, there are usually two things you can do: either to do another surgery to fix the first problem, or just live with the awful results for the rest of your life.
The second solution is definitely not so hopeful, so many people do the first. They go under another plastic surgery. In some cases it helps get their looks back.
But sometimes the second cosmetic surgery also makes things worse. That is when you really wish you wouldn’t even think of doing a plastic surgery in the first place.

Every year, thousands of women choose breast reduction surgery for a variety of reasons. For some women, the reason is as simple as their breasts are just too big and prevent them from having a normal life due to making some simple movements difficult, as well as causing back pain. For others, the size of their breasts can make them feel self-conscious because their chest is the subject of far too much attention, whether good or bad.
There are a wealth of reasons why women undergo this type of surgery – maybe they cannot take part in certain sports due to the size of their breasts, or suffer from low self esteem thanks to disproportionate breasts compared with the rest of their body. Large breasts can also make your posture suffer too, which can lead to back problems.

While cosmetic plastic surgery used to be seen as almost wholly a “female thing,” men are rapidly catching up. Men make up over 35% of cosmetic surgery patients. The percentage of male television and movie stars who have undergone plastic surgery grows by the day. Some of the male stars who have had plastic surgery are Burt Reynolds, Kenny Rogers, Mickey Rourke, and Bruce Jenner. Famous men suspected of having plastic surgery include Clint Eastwood, Michael Douglas, and Clay Aiken. And of course, the most famous male plastic surgery patient was the late Michael Jackson.
Rogers and Reynolds both appear to have had face lifts that have done little except interfere with the handsome, yet rugged faces they used to have. Rupert Everett is another male star who has been rendered almost unrecognizable after having had plastic surgery on his face. While the new face is perhaps more balanced, or symmetrical, it looks like it belongs to someone else entirely. Continue reading ‘Male Stars who have had Plastic Surgery’ »

A procedure frequently performed at a Florida center for cosmetic surgery is a Blepharoplasty, or eyelid surgery. This procedure helps to reduce the sad, tired look caused by drooping, saggy eyelids, as well as reducing the under-eye bags or puffiness that often occur with the aging process. Some people also experience vision reduction because of the excess eyelid skin, and this procedure can greatly improve vision in those cases.
An eyelid surgery performed in a Florida center for cosmetic surgery takes about an hour or two. It is usually performed under local or general anesthesia and the patient can return home the same day, although some opt for an overnight stay. Small incisions are made in the natural creases of the upper eyelids or inside the lower eyelids to be assured that any scarring will be well-hidden. Lasers are frequently used to remove the fatty tissue and excess skin. Lasers can also be used to resurface skin areas under the eyes to help reduce dark circles.
