Why do some people choose to use drugs when they’re so bad for you? The causes of drug addiction are as varied as the amount of drugs that are available for use – both legally and illegally. There is no one cause for drug addiction just like there is no consistent profile of a drug user.
People who have a history of drug use or abuse in their families are at risk for drug addiction problems. It has been proven that children of alcoholics will exhibit addictive tendencies. Children of alcoholics or drug users generally have low self-esteem and see their parents escaping from problems using drugs. When they see this, their minds say that this is the way to act and they themselves become users.
There is also a biological basis for causing drug addiction. Drugs alter the brain’s chemicals and the way the brain functions. Drug addiction creates dependence in the brain by changing the brain’s reward functions – the part that reinforces certain behaviors.

Our bodies don’t get cancer; our bodies make cancer. That is we have made it ourselves. How did we accomplish that you may ask? Simply by not respecting the laws of Mother Nature. It’s the way we are now living that’s causing so much of it now days. Cancer is well understood and it is not some dreaded disease that science can’t fathom. Its cause is the result of the violation of natural laws.
What our medical system wants us to believe is it’s not our fault and there is nothing we could have done to prevent it. That is not so! The facts are cancer has been growing in your body for many years, and it’s you that has caused it. In most cases it takes about 10 years before it’s of sufficient size to be detected and that means your cancer has been under construction for a long time.

A symptom is an indication of disease, illness, injury, or that something is not right in the body. Symptoms are felt or noticed by a person, but may not easily be noticed by anyone else. For example, chills, weakness, achiness, shortness of breath, and a cough may be symptoms of pneumonia. A sign is also an indication that something is not right in the body. But signs are defined as things that can be seen by a doctor, nurse, or other health care professional. Fever, rapid breathing rate, and abnormal breathing sounds heard through a stethoscope may be signs of pneumonia.
Having one symptom or sign may not give enough information to suggest a cause. For example, a rash in a child could be a symptom of a number of things including poison ivy, an infectious disease like measles, an infection limited to the skin, or a food allergy. But if the rash is seen along with other signs and symptoms like a high fever, chills, achiness, and a sore throat, then a doctor can get a better picture of the illness. In many cases, a patient’s signs and symptoms do not give enough clues by themselves for the doctor to figure out the cause of an illness. Then medical tests, such as x-rays, blood tests, or a biopsy may be needed.

Mesothelioma is a very aggressive cancer that is caused by exposure to asbestos. Approximately 20 percent of cancers caused by asbestos are peritoneal mesothelioma. This form of the cancer manifests itself in the mesothelial cells of the abdomen when the asbestos fibers become embedded in the space between the cells. It can take as many as 20 to 50 years for the symptoms of peritoneal mesothelioma to appear. Over these years, the asbestos fibers irritate the parietal layer that covers the stomach cavity and they begin to produce cancer cells. Fluid builds up and tumors eventually form.
What are the Symptoms?
Symptoms of peritoneal mesothelioma are swelling and pain in the abdomen, diarrhea or constipation, unexplained weight loss, nausea and vomiting, and the appearance of lumps under the skin in the abdominal area.
How is It Treated?
Since this type of cancer is usually diagnosed very late in its development, a positive mesothelioma prognosis is not likely, and treatment options are limited. Chemotherapy and radiation are typically used to threat the cancer, along with medication to provide pain relief. For many patients, surgery is not an option because at the point of discovery, the cancer has already spread too far and the patient’s poor health may make him or her too weak to recover from the trauma of surgery. Prostate cancer is the male equivalent of breast cancer, which plagues millions of women. Fortunately, a little precaution can reduce the dangers of prostate cancer, and might even help save your life. It is crucial for men to pay attention to their health, especially as they age. Prostate cancer is the third major cause of cancer-related deaths in men. Many men do not realize the severity of this hazardous disease and fail to receive regular prostate checkups.
Prostate cancer starts with the growth of a malignant tumor inside the prostate gland and spreads by extending into the bladder, seminal vesicles, and peritoneal cavity. It eventually metastasizes to the bones, lymph nodes, lungs, liver, and kidneys. The cause of prostate cancer is unknown, although recent studies find a small relation between increased testosterone levels and high dietary fat intake. Prostate cancer is rarely occurs in men under 40 years of age. The highest level of occurrence is greatest in African-American men over 60 years old. Increased occurrence is also associated environmental exposure to cadmium, a metallic element. The lowest incidence of prostate cancer occurs in vegetarians. I am always annoying my family by insisting they don’t drink from cans or bottles. Unless I “nag” them when we are out they will happily just purchase one from a shop somewhere and raise it to their mouths.
Maybe they feel drinking from a straw or glass isn’t macho or cool. At home they have no such qualms and always use glasses, usually so many I complain about the washing up.

How to look at cancer from a NATURAL point of view
Cancer and your diet
The following excerpt comes from a well-known medical magazine and the idea was to deal it with people who are more looking at natural remedies and life without pills.
In cases where patients have already been diagnosed with cancer, treatment is definitely necessary.
— An apple a day plus a veggie-intensive diet are the stars of new cancer prevention studies.
— A chemical in apples helped prevent colon cancer in laboratory studies.
— Three or more servings of vegetables a day — potatoes not included — reduced risk of cancer In studies.
— “It’s been estimated that up to one-third of cancers are related to food we eat. … That’s a lot of preventable cancers” . Antioxidants in fruits and vegetables protect the body from damaging free radicals “like rust-proofing your car. Cyanidins are also found in abundance in red wine and cocoa. Raleigh, N.C. – KDI Health Solutions, an emerging regional provider of community-based preventive health care and chronic disease management programs, announced today the launch of its services throughout North Carolina and South Carolina. KDI’s award winning network of PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy), residency-trained pharmacists provides a new health care services option to the thousands of employer groups and physician practices across the Carolinas.
The KDI business model of deploying a team of highly skilled PharmD clinicians began with the “The Asheville Projectâ€, a nationally recognized diabetes patient care program created for the city of Asheville, North Carolina. This revolutionary community-based program is generating measurable success; health care costs have dropped, fewer work days are being missed and city employees and retirees are living healthier lives.
Asheville City leaders confirm the dramatic results. “The adoption of the pharmaceutical care program is the best thing we have ever done for our group health plan,†says John Miall, former risk manager for the City of Asheville. “Employees with life threatening diseases are healthier than they’ve ever been, and the city’s health plan has saved more than $2,000 in medical costs per patient each year.â€

Toxic Heavy Metal: Arsenic
Extremely poisonous as well as colorless and odorless, arsenic can enter the body through the mouth, lungs and skin. Arsenic is the most common cause of acute heavy metal poisoning in adults. Arsenic is released into the environment by the smelting process of copper, zinc, and lead, as well as by the manufacturing of chemicals and glasses. Arsenic is found in water supplies worldwide with exposure of marine life. It affects the blood, kidneys, and central nervous, digestive, and skin systems.
Arsenic exposure: beer, chemical processing plants, cigarette smoke, coal combustion, drinking water, fungicides, meats and seafood, metal foundries, ore smelting plants, paints, pesticides, polluted air, rat poisoning, salt – table, seafood from coastal waters – oysters, shrimp, muscles, specialty glass products, water – drinking, weed killers, and wood preservatives. Workers in metal smelters, coal burning plants, manufacture of semiconductors, pesticides, opal glass, pharmaceuticals, paint, leather tanning, and taxidermists. Hey, guess what? In today’s world we are finding more and more problems with people? Do you know why? Could it because our early detections are not working as well as we planned? Is it our health care system and the 45,000,000+ people with out health insurance or un-adequate insurance?
Maybe it’s it because you and I are sucking down more poison then any other time in history. People find it humorous almost to say, yeah this hamburger isn’t good for me but screw it! Well you and I can that see this type of position of your health, is unhealthy in itself. But what about those who seem to try to stay in good graces with their health and yet they still find themselves getting cancer or other diseases?
Well it’s not as far off as someone who says, the hell with it. The only difference is, they don’t know what’s hurting them. Foods and artificial sweeteners such as Aspartame (or AminoSweet) – Trans fats, bad water & EMFs (Electro Magnetic Field (or Electro Mangentic Chaos) – from microwaved food, cell phones and power lines) are killing people and they don’t even know it!
