Everyone knows that the trade in hard drugs is big business. Few are aware that the business involved in prescription drugs is even bigger. You’ve probably seen the ads on the television. Juice diets are the new craze these days. Maybe some of your friends and co-workers have talked about it. What exactly does it entail?

First of, doctors and nutritionists have always said that the best way to lose weight for the long term is proper dieting and regular exercise. This is difficult for many people to do because of their busy lives. A short term diet is a big draw because many people want to lose weight before a special event.

Juice diets often requires you to just drink juice and water for a set period of time. They typically last 48 hours. So while the diet is quite restrictive, remember that it only lasts for 2 days. In some ways it is easier to complete than other diet plans because it is a relatively short period of time. Staying motivated for 48 hours straight in easier for many people to do rather than following a diet and exercise regimen for several months. Continue reading ‘General Information on Juice Diets’ »

I wonder why some doctors seem to pronounce the dreaded “you have cancer” on victims of the condition with some degree of “finality” as if that’s the end of the road for them. While certainly most will disagree that doctors seem to enjoy it, who knows – they just might. But whether they enjoy pronouncing it or not, you shouldn’t let the pronouncement be the end of the world for you.

This is because everything the doctors say can’t be guaranteed. If they say you are going to live for only 2 more years, there’s no guarantee of that. They are only supposing. So, don’t let their pronouncement make you lose all hopes of life. If you still have any bit of life in you, then you can still do all you can to fight the condition to a standstill and – wait for it – WIN!

Yes, you read that right. There are lots of prostate cancer survivors and conquerors out there who have successfully defeated the condition. The point is – if they could, you CAN as well. All you have to do is find out what they did to survive the cancer and do the exact same things. You just might get the same results. Don’t just sit alone and wait for death. Stand up and FIGHT and you will be surprised at the results you will get! Continue reading ‘You Have Prostate Cancer, Yes, But That is NOT the End of the World’ »

Regardless of which way you lean politically, the fact is that there’s something that all seniors… and everyone really… in the U.S. should be thinking about right now, more than ever before.

Your health!

That’s right, if you haven’t been paying attention lately, the health care bill that might (or shall I say, will likely) get passed may not be…shall we say…great for the older people in this country.

Here are some very strong reasons why:

“PG 425 Lines 22-25, 426 Lines 1-3 Government provides approved list of end of life resources, guiding you in death!”

“PG 427 Lines 15-24 Government mandates program for orders for end of life. The Government has a say in how your life ends!”

“Pg 429 Lines 1-9 An “adv. care planning consult” will be used frequently as patients health deteriorates.”
“PG 429 Lines 10-12 “adv. care consultation” may include an ORDER for end of life plans. AN ORDER from GOVERNMENT!!!”

“Pg 429 Lines 13-25 – The government will specify which Doctors can write an end of life order.”

“PG 430 Lines 11-15 The Government will decide what level of treatment you will have at end of life.”

Now I’m not going to tell you to call your senators or congress men and women. I’m not going to tell you what you should think of this proposal, nothing like that!

Liver Cancer in India

Primary liver cancer begins in the cells of the liver itself. Although many cancers are declining in the United States, new cases of primary liver cancer are increasing.

Cancers that commonly spread to the liver include colon, lung and breast cancers. These cancers aren’t called liver cancer. Instead, they are named after the organ in which the cancer began — such as metastatic colon cancer to describe cancer that begins in the colon and spreads to the liver. These metastatic cancers are treated based on where the cancer began, rather than being treated as primary liver cancers…
