For over 3,000 years, the Chinese have developed the art of promoting an inner energy flow that was considered the basis of healing. Physical disease was thought to have an origin of stagnated energy. Once this “blockage” of energy was dispersed and a greater flow of energy stimulated, symptoms of illness would normalize. These energy flows run throughout the body on pathways called “meridians,” mapped out from traditional Chinese medical texts and named after different organs and body systems. Along the meridians, various concentrations of energy, known as “points,” can be stimulated through massage, needle or heat application to promote well-being. There have been many applications of palm energy, mineral and gem placement and most recently, electrical stimulation on specific acupuncture points to influence the human energy field. A common example of energy flow can be seen in a garden hose. The water freely flows until a kink occurs in the hose. This slows the flow down to a trickle. This juncture is where the blockage of water is occurring. If we straighten the kink (compared to stimulating an acupuncture point along a stagnant meridian) the strength of the flow is restored. Our CieAura Transparent Holographic Chipsâ„¢ influence key points to create the desire effect.
Acupuncture points are simple to understand, because there’s almost a natural connection in how we instinctively treat them. For instance, there’s a Bladder #1 point that is bi-lateral and exists on both sides of the bridge of the nose. Continue reading ‘How to Get A Good Night Sleep Without Drugs Pills or Potions’ »

- Set a bed time. If you go to sleep at the same time every night your body will get used to the pattern and it will adjust more quickly giving you more quality sleep time. Research shows that we get our deepest, best sleep from 10 pm until 6 am so if you want to feel rejuvenated the next day, those are the times to shoot for.
- Go black. Our bodies are designed to sleep in the dark. By making your room as dark as possible you’re triggering the brain that it’s time to sleep. Get some blackout curtains and get a good night sleep.
- Go media lite. Watching TV or listening to the radio – particularly anything that makes you really think, like the news – just gets your brain churning. Better to turn off the TV early and just relax for a while before you hit the hay. Definitely don’t leave the TV or radio on while you’re trying to sleep. If you want to find a way to lose weight faster, and you think there is nothing new under the sun, then what I’m about to tell you will really make you nod off.
According to Dr Kenneth Goodrick at Baylor University, a good night’s sleep is a vital ingredient for weight loss.

He believes that lack of sleep robs people of the energy they need to exercise and sets up a vicious low-energy cycle that sabotages your weight loss programme. Often when energy reserves are low, people turn to high-fat and high-sugar laden foods or caffeinated drinks for energy pick-me-ups…all of which interfere with weight loss efforts. Some may drink 10 to 15 caffeinated beverages a day, which has a adverse effect on sleep quality. It’s a double whammy. Continue reading ‘Sleep Can Help You Lose Weight!’ »

Bipolar disorder is also known as manic depression. Bipolar disorder is a psychological disorder that effects a person’s mood. The mood swings are very extreme with a manic (high elation) phase and a very deep depressive phase. There is estimated to effect approximately 1% of the adult population. There is also evidence that shows that neither men nor women have a greater chance of suffering from bipolar disorder than the other. Bipolar is the third most common disorder after major depression and dysthymic disorder (a mild but persistent form of depression). Because of the extreme psychological disturbances caused by bipolar disorder, it can destroy lives. Alcohol and drug problems are often present in sufferers and without proper medication and care, it leads to 20% of sufferers committing suicide.
Many people experience a depressive phase most of the time, while only experiencing very few manic episodes. It is the swing between moods that people find hardest to deal with. Although no one would care to feel deeply depressed.
