Anyone who has done any research about at home wrinkle treatments has certainly come across a plethora of strange remedies that claim to heal wrinkles. From bird poop to sour cream, from pineapple juice to avocado masks, we have all seen them all. The latest of these remedies however has proven to provide significant enough results that even skin care experts are standing up to take notice. There is nothing enjoyable about applying this remedy to your face, and it takes a bit of preparation, but the results are worth trying as a replacement to your wrinkle cream once in a while.

It starts with a half of pound of ground turkey. Place turkey in a bowl and combine it with the following items. 1 egg, a quarter cup of orange juice and a dollop of cream cheese. Stir all of this together until it is a smooth consistency. It should be thin enough to almost stir, if it is too thick add just a drop or two of orange juice until it is. This will not look appealing, and it shouldn’t, but that is not the objective, the goal here is to eliminate your wrinkles and this mess will do the trick.

Next you are to wash your face with very warm water. You will want to be sure to rinse your face multiple times with the water as warm as you can stand it without it burning. This will open up your pores and aid in the results of this treatment. Once your face is clean, you must begin to apply this mess to your face. Start by putting just a bit of the meat on your finger tips and rub it into your skin. You will want to start in the areas with the deepest wrinkles, so you should do this in the mirror. Rub the meat mixture counter clockwise into your skin, this will feel a bit gross, but just bear with it. Once you have massaged the meat mixture into your skin, you need to begin to apply it as a mask.

Contrary to popular belief, occurrence of a Keloid scar can happen to anyone at any stage of their lives. The bad news is that the scar category, often termed as keloids, is not yet thoroughly understood by the medical fraternity. These scars can happen at any stage while a wound is healing. They appear as the wound begins to outgrow in a protruding manner, getting larger and thicker every passing day. Unlike typical hypertrophic scars that also involve overgrowth in a healing wound, Keloid scars grow beyond the original boundaries of the wound and tend to attain fibrous to rubbery texture over time. The presence of collagen inside such scar tissue determines their colour, which can be reddish to white.

While normal surgery has often failed at eliminating keloids, laser surgeries, radiation and cryotherapy have also put forward success stories on case to case basis only. Moreover, prevention of a keloid scar is also an unknown phenomenon, given that it can trigger with even a properly attended wound. Continue reading ‘Get rid of a Keloid Scar for Good’ »

A scars cream or scar gel is meant to improve the appearance of the skin by making it scar-free. These scars may be caused due to surgery, injury, acne, laser resurfacing et al. These scars are unseemly and mar the appearance of otherwise healthy and beautiful skin. This is the reason that people having scars try every method possible to reduce the scars and restore the natural appearance of the skin. There are many scar treatment products available in the market, which claim to reduce the appearance of scars. These products often contain ingredients like onion extracts, vitamin E oil, cucumber butter, cocoa butter, lime juice Aloe Vera etc. Some of them even contain technologically advanced actives like skin remodelling peptides. However, none of these ingredients are proven to diminish the appearance of scars.

The only products known to significantly treat scars are silicone based scars cream and scar gel. These products are effective on all scars including hypertrophic and Keloid scars. The scar cream formula is such that it penetrates deep into the subcutaneous layer of the skin and heals the scar tissue from inside. A scar cream is most effective when used with silicone based gel or silicone sheeting. When used in such a combination, it reduces the appearance of scars by almost 82%! A scar cream contains many natural ingredients along with silicone. In this way, it improves the overall health and appearance of the skin, apart from diminishing the scar.
